The
board of deacons includes the chairnan, the vice chairman, the secretary
and the members. Each deacon serves as a liaison to the different committees.
Each deacon is nominated by the congregation and voted for a year. The
deacons maintain the financial oversight of the church budget and act
upon compensation recommendations of the finance committee. They oversee
the physical plant and facilities of the church and cooperate with the
elders in promoting growth and welfare of the church body. The deacons
meet every first Tuesday of the month.
The
deacons are: Stew Ackerman III, Martin Boudman, Larry Broadt, John Esslinger,
Charlie Fritz (Vice-Chairman), Charles Horne, Jeff Hunt, Chris John (Secretary),
Todd Karnes, Larry Keller (Chairman), Randy Nevius, Blake Snyder, Jack
Sudbury, Leonard Tomashefki, Kent Witchey, Wade Yocum.
